More Amanda Pages

Here are two more pages for Amanda's album. I thought the coordinating 'Sister' papers were very cute. It is hard to tell from the picture, but I punched the two larger butterflies so that the word sister is on each one. They were punched from the paper on the right.

Another Slide Card

Here is another slide card I made. It was a thank you for a German friend. It's not as pretty as the engagement slide card, but it's the thought that counts!

Christmas Gator

I am quite proud of myself--I have finished my Christmas cards already! That is a first. Isn't the alligator stamp adorable?

I started with a plain white card (it is hard to see in the picture) and layered it with red cardstock. I used a blue for the sky and two layers of a speckled beige that I tore and dabbed with brown ink. I embossed the sun in gold on yellow cardstock and attached it with a large pop dot. The alligator was embossed in green and I colored him with two shades of green chalk. I used markers to color-in the light bulbs on the string of lights and the red in the santa hat. The 'fur' on the hat was done with Crystal Effects and glitter. I cut the gators (the paper snip scissors from Stampin' Up sure come in handy) and attached them with mini glue dots. I thought the North Pole brads were a cute touch. The inside sentiment reads, a cool Yule. It seemed to flow nicely with the, Wishing you...

Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you liked my 'Christmas Gator.'

Scrapbook for Amanda

I am currently working on a scrapbook for my niece, Amanda. It will be a birthday gift this year. The album will begin with her birth announcement & baby picture. Following that will be her Christening, nursery school graduation, 8th grade graduation, Daddy & Me pages, sister pages, and pictures of their home. The rest of the album will be devoted to her Sweet Sixteen party from last year. Today I am posting the 'Dancing' pages that I have completed. Yes, that is me in the purple dress and we had a great time at her party!
Thanks for stopping in...Lisa
